Abstract
The article analyzes the diary entries of Vladimir Dedijer about the first wave of Russian emigrants who took part in the national liberation struggle, which was led by the Communist Party of Yugoslavia during the Second World War. V. Dedijer was a Yugoslav journalist, a participant in the Yugoslav Resistance, a close associate of JB Tito. Two parts of the diary were published in 1945—1946, the third part in 1950. The second edition of the diary was published in 1951. The author of the article concludes that Dedijer's attitude towards Russian emigrants was largely determined by the policy of the Communist Party of Yugoslavia towards the Soviet Union during the period of cooling relations between the two states
