Abstract

The article describes the trajectories of the professional scientific fate of Russian refugee scientists after the October wave, who manifested themselves in Croatia and © Сорокина М. The issue of personal contacts between scientists, primarily Slavists, who became key intermediaries and communicators between the power elites, peoples and scientific communities of both countries, is being considered, as a result of which cultural and scientific ties between Croatia and Russia have become especially close since the second half of the XIX century.
