HISTORICAL MEMORY OF EDUCATIONAL MIGRANTS FROM CENTRAL ASIA IN TOMSK: SOCIO-POLITICAL TRANSFORMATIONS OF THE KYRGYZ REPUBLIC IN THE XX-XXI CENTURIES BY THE HEADS OF KYRGYZ YOUTH

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of narratives of the historical memory of Kyrgyz students in Tomsk. The materials of semi-formalized interviews with educational migrants from Kyrgyzstan give an idea of the perception of Kyrgyz youth of various periods in the history of the republic. Narratives about the Soviet past as a single path of development for Kyrgyzstan and Russia come to the fore. Nostalgia for the Soviet past and the representation of the consequences of the collapse of the USSR determine the assessment of the political crises experienced by the country at the beginning of the XXI century. The inclusion of these elements of historical memory in everyday knowledge determines the life trajectories of educational migrants who connect their future with Russia
