Abstract
The article deals with the participation of Russian ballet artists, who worked at the National Theater in Belgrade, in the creation of the Yugoslav ballet “Ohridska Legend” by S. Hristich. From the idea originating in 1924 to the premiere of the ballet in four acts in 1947, Russians participated in every stage of the process of its realization. From a cultural perspective, it discusses the interaction of Russian and Serbian cultures in the creation of one of the five Yugoslav ballets between the two world wars
