Abstract
The article analyzes the current migration situation in the regions of the Siberian Federal District based on the results of sociological surveys conducted in 2020-2023. Due to the unfavorable demographic situation in the Siberian regions, attention is paid to external and internal migrations, their dynamics and causes. Internal migration has a negative balance in all regions. Residents of Siberia actively travel to the western and southern regions of the country: Moscow and the Moscow Region, St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, Krasnodar Territory, Kaliningrad. External migration is characterized by a positive balance and a predominance of migrants from the post-Soviet States of Central Asia
